Dr. Shailendra Palvia is currently the Director of MIS at Long Island University. He received his Ph.D. from University of Minnesota, and has more than 100 research articles in refereed journals and refereed conference proceedings. Prior to joining the ranks of academia, Dr. Palvia worked in industry for IBM and Control Data Corporation.
His most recent book, with co-editors P.Palvia and Ed Roche, on
Global Information Technology and Electronic Commerce, is a standard text used by global information technology and international business curriculums. Shyam Varan Nath is the Founder and President of Medical Excursions, Inc. - a company committed to Globalization of HealthCare. This company was result of a winning business Plan on Medical Tourism.
Shyam completed his B Tech (EE) from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur, MBA and MS (Computer Science) from Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton, FL. Shyam was instrumental in starting the Oracle Business Intelligence, Warehousing and Analytics, Special Interest Group and is the first President of this Users Group. He is the recipient of IOUG: Oracle Contribution Award 2007.

Hindupur Ramakrishna is an associate professor of information systems at the University of Redlands School of Business where he teaches undergraduate and Graduate courses in MIS. At Redlands he founded the study-abroad India program three years ago and has been the director of the program since. He has a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bangalore University and a Ph.D. from Georgia State University.
His research focuses on Information Systems personnel, IS curriculum, intellectual property, and IS project success issues. He has taught in a variety of business schools in the US during the past 29 years.

Currently working as Country Head of a Software Product company (one of the top five OSS / BSS vendors in the world, listed in London), I have 19 Years of experience working with software products and services organizations of repute such as SUN Microsystems, TARGET Corporation, Wipro Technologies, First Apex, Sharp Corporation, i2 Technologies, Coopers & Lybrand, Xansa and George Soros Funded / Group Organization. I was a co-founder and Director of TARGET corporation in India.
My specialization is management of wholly owned subsidiaries of US and Europe based technology organizations. I was instrumental in creating the first offshore company (TCG Software, NY) in Calcutta in 1994. I have been playing senior management role for more than a decade. As a technology professional, I led research initiatives (resulting to patent) during my tenure in SUN and SHARP. I led the open source initiative for Xerces at SUN.

Nischal Sanghavi currently heads ATLAS, a self-owned BPO located in Western India (Track Chairperson ).
Nischal Sanghavi currently heads ATLAS, a self-owned BPO located in Western India. After completing Engineering in Electronics and Masters in Business Administration, instead of opting for job, Nischal, with his childhood friend Mitesh, decided to chase their own rainbow. Starting with a very small capital ATLAS today is a full-fledged 24X7 BPO with state-of-art 150 seat production facility working on prestigious international e-publishing projects since last 10 years. Nischal is also a writing hobbyist who regularly freelances for a number of publications including a weekly column in the prestigious ‘Times of India’ newspaper.
